Solo String Festival

Solo String Festival

Solo String Festival is for students ages 6-18. Students are judged according to their age group and instrument. Students play one or two pieces with an accompanist, if their piece includes accompaniment.
Students may choose to enter competitively or only to receive comments. To enter competitively they must play their work from memory unless it is a sonata movement. Students who place first, second, third
and honorable mention receive ribbons. All students receive comments and a certificate of participation.
